Beginning October 8th and ending October 29th.
The Older Adults Book Club (for ages 55+) meets weekly for friendly discussion and conversation centered on a chosen book each month. Find us in the Seniors Lounge at Gus Garcia Recreation Center on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.
Participants are invited to attend every discussion or only the final session when they may also borrow the next book in the series. A limited number of regular and large-type books are available for borrowing. Audiobooks on CD are also available on occasion.
Led by Austin Public Library staff and graciously hosted by the recreation center, the book club formed in March 2025. We read classic and contemporary fiction and nonfiction. Watch for each month's next selection!
