Older Adults Book Club at Gus Garcia Recreation Center 

The Older Adults Book Club (for ages 55+) meets weekly for friendly discussion and conversation centered on a chosen book - approximately one per month. Find us in the Seniors Lounge at Gus Garcia Recreation Center on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.

The author's guide to murder : a novel / Beatriz Williams, Lauren Willig, Karen White

Beginning April 16th and concluding May 21st.

Participants are invited to attend each discussion or only the first and last sessions when they may borrow the next book in the series. A limited number of regular and large-type books are available for borrowing. Audiobooks on CD are available on occasion.

Led by Austin Public Library staff and graciously hosted by the recreation center, the book club formed in March 2025. We read classic and contemporary fiction and nonfiction. Watch for each month's next selection!
