Terrazas Non-Fiction BYO Book Club

The Terrazas Non-Fiction BYO (Bring Your Own) Book Club meets monthly to discuss a non-fiction topic. This month's topic: UFOs

Participants can read any book relating to the subject and share what they learned with the group. A diversity of sources and information should make for interesting conversation.

Here is a list of some suggestions.

June of 1947 was the beginning of the flying disc craze. People in the United States began making claims of seeing unidentified flying objects. One of the most famous was the Roswell incident in July 1947 in which public information officer Walter Haut claimed the military had recovered a "flying disc" near Roswell, New Mexico. This statement was later retracted, but it was too late to stop the intrigue.
