Japanese-English Storytime

This is a dual language storytime for children aged 5 and under and their caregivers, featuring stories, songs, rhymes, and other pre-literacy skill building activities in both English and Japanese.

Some material is presented in English while other material is presented in Japanese, allowing for a natural transition between stories and activities and exposing children to both languages in an inviting environment. Storytime lasts about 30 minutes.

Austin市立図書館のバイリンガル・ストーリータイムです。このストーリータイムは０歳から５歳児向けで、日本の絵本や紙芝居の読み聞かせ、古くから親しまれている歌を日本語と英語の両方でご紹介します。

３０分程のストーリータイムの後、親子で一緒に楽しめる遊び時間もあります。参加費は無料、予約も不要です。どなたでもお気軽にご参加いただけます。
