Temporary Halt on Austin History Center Donation Acceptance through April 30, 2025

To better help staff focus on both moving our collection into a new location and to allow us to catch up with an outstanding backlog of already donated materials, the Austin History Center will temporarily halt acceptance of donations of any materials, with a goal of resuming all donations on April 30, 2025.

We will consider donations of materials that are under-represented in our collection on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Austin History Center staff to discuss if you feel your donation may fall within these terms.

Although we are limited to what we can accept during this time, we are happy to discuss any future donations you may be interested in making. Please reach out to us to arrange a time to discuss or meet.
