Cowboy Rope Tricks

This photograph is from the Neal Douglass Photography Collection. Neal Douglass was Austin’s first photojournalist, working from 1936 into the 1960s for the Statesman and in his own photography business. While Douglass dated many of his negatives and made brief notes, this image of a cowboy doing a rope trick is undated.
